Free tour of Rochester’s water supply
WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE. . . .
On Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 11 AM, a member of the Rochester Water Bureau staff will lead us on this “tour” of the Rochester Water Supply, describing its sources, including the Highland Park Reservoir.
Public water supplies have come under scrutiny, and are a matter of concern to all of us. Join us to hear about Rochester’s water supply, and to be reassured that it is, indeed, safe to drink! It also has a fascinating history.
We will meet at the UPPER Gate House on Reservoir Avenue, across from the Lamberton Conservatory. The tour is free and open to the public.
